I believe he has had this for quite sometime, as far back as his days in Double-A with the Trenton then Red Sox affiliate. A former teammate and best friend of his, Lou Merloni has an aunt who bought and gave it to him. Actually, he wore it at one point on his hat, I think in the back if I remember correctly.
